okay, wow. i've been away from my purple monkey power for a really long time. for those of you that were loyal readers, once upon a time, you have my sincerest apologies. i guess i was busy? or perhaps forgetful? more than likely the latter of the two is the reason for my absence.
at any rate, let me get you caught up on my life to date. last we spoke, i had just turned 30. seeing as how that was nearly 2 years ago and knowing that my memory is not what it used to be, i can't remember a lot of what happened that year. i do know that i had the most amazing experience of my life to date that year. i went to italy for ten days. it was magical, amazing, breathtaking and more wonderful that i imagined it could be. a few months later, i went to indianapolis...just because i had never been and it sounded like fun. then i had another birthday. shortly after that, on july 4th, i tore my ACL. good times. had surgery to get that all fixed up a month or so afterward. not fun. moved to start a new job. it rocks. started grad school. and i am happier than i've been in a long while. in fact, my house is supposed to sell today and then i'll be free to buy a new one. good times, fabulous blessings and joy in abundance. God is so good!!
okay, enough for today. i'm going to try and get back in the habit of filling you guys in on my comings and goings.
